Good wireless keyboard at a great price December 24, 2008 I just received the EX110 and am using it now. I simply shut down my machine, removed the existing mouse and keyboard (old style dedicated connectors rather than USB) replaced them with the connectors on the end of the wireless receiver, restarted the machine, and became free for the first time of a wired keyboard and mouse.
I did experience one minor issue - on this machine I have XP Pro installed on the primary IDE and Linux on the secondary - so when I want to switch from one to the other I go into the BIOS utility to select the boot drive - the first time that I tried doing this I was warned by the BIOS that I had no mouse or keyboard - however, on the second try it worked (booting into Linux) and it also worked on the third try (booting back into XP).
The feel of the keyboard is normal to me, and the mouse has a more substantial feel to it compared to the one I was using previously. I turned down the resolution on the mouse about 30 percent as it was more reactive than the older mouse that I was using (in XP control panel --> mouse --> pointer options --> select a pointer speed).
If I had known how easy and inexpensive it is to get the wireless mouse and keyboard working, I would have done it a long time ago. I am very pleased with the EX110.
Good Buy December 23, 2008 We picked this up so we could hook our computer up to the HDTV. For the most part it works fine! Every now and then it decides not to type. It worked fine for this review!
Good keyboard & mouse pairing December 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A good, solid product from Logitech. Nothing flashy but does the job well. One interesting incident that occured while setting up - I'd powered up the mouse that came with this set before I'd plugged in the receiver to the PC. I have two PC's close to each other at home, one of which already had a cordless keyboard and mouse (also from Logitech), the other was to get the new cordless set. As I brought the new mouse into range, it immediately hooked up with the existing PC's receiver, so much so that the mouse attached to that PC stopped working and ceded control to the new mouse! It took a few minutes to figure out what had happened, and when I connected the new receiver to the PC and pressed the Connect button with the new mouse close by, order was restored.
No complaints about either mouse or keyboard, thought the keyboard is a little small; it feels a little like typing on a large smartphone than on a PC keyboard. It's a matter of getting used to; I'd still buy another if I had to

For my vista32 bit laptop this keyboard and mouse combo works very well. I have it plugged into my USB port. Make sure you use the latest software from logitech.
Good and cheap December 20, 2008 This is a good basic unit. Good battery life. The Keyboard is good. The mouse is very basic it works fine, but has a cheap feel. This combo can't be beat for the price.
