Great drive (so far), but no way to attach to key ring December 24, 2008 I just bought this Kingston DataTraveler 4 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT100/4GB a week or so ago and it is working perfectly. The price was excellent for a 4gb drive. My only complaint is that the place where you are supposed to be able to attach a lanyard or key ring is so small that it is nearly impossible to do so. I managed to snake a bit of dental floss through by poking it with a twist-tie. If anyone has managed to attach this to key ring, I'd love to hear how you did so.
Great December 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i LOVE this flash drive because there is no pesky software to download and it does just what it's suppose to do: SAVE MY DATA.
Cheap for a reason December 12, 2008 The price is great, but you get what you pay for. The sliding lock doesn't lock down, so everytime you try to insert the USB into the USB slot it folds in. I found a way to hold the slider tight while inserting, but it doesn't work everytime. I'm going to have to purchase something else. The software works great, but it is slow to copy.
Merely adequate December 12, 2008 This unit does the job of a flash drive adequately. The tab to push open the USB connector is occasionally balky (it's cheap plastic). It would be nice if it had a large, easy-to-see in-use light (like Sandisk drives do) as well. Otherwise, the drive seems reliable and does not come loaded with crapware (like a Sandisk drive does). Overall, it's just a very average flash drive.
Lots of space, poor retractable idea December 11, 2008 I have been using this drive for several days.
Capacity is 3.77 GB, FAT 32.
Not having to deal with a cap is great and all, but the retractable "switch" is really tight. Sometimes, you have to really push it in order to pull the USB head out; same with pushing it back in. Hopefully this will loosen over time. Besides this complaint, product would have received 5 stars.
