Too fragile October 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First, I genuinely like the product very much because it produces solid sound for light-weight headphone. I very much liked the collapsible nature to carry in a more compact situation. The phones fit tightly on the ears to minimize the ambient, external noise though they technically are not noise-canceling.
However, they were too fragile. After two months of wear/use, the piece on the left ear that "snaps" the phone into place broke. Disappointed, I assumed that I had not been careful but the sound was not affected. The greatest disappointment was the plastic holding the right phone snapped completely, dropping the phone completely and making them completely unusable.
With duct tape, I was able to tape the plastic together to hold the right phone in place; unsightly, they still work.
I'm not careless or hard on this equipment; I'm not sure the design was as solid as need be. The sound was very good; the construction not good. If Sennheiser would have replaced them, I could rate them higher. If you purchase, be _very_ careful with them.
Poor Sound Quality, But Solved The problem September 17, 2008 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have the on-ear open Sennheiser PX100 headphones which have a good sound quality. But, at times I need a closed ear design to help block outside noise. So, I bought the PX200 headphones. The sound coming from this headset is extremely tinny and shallow. I returned them for a refund. If you do not have a good quality headset with you to compare the PX200 to, then you may not realize just how bad the sound really is.
However, I discovered that both headsets were exactly the same size. So, I bought the replacement closed ear cushions for the PX200 and put them on my PX100. The ear cushions fit perfectly on the PX100. So, now I can switch cushions depending on my needs. This is a great solution that works great for me and may work out for you.

Great sound, love the compact case too, very handy. Sound is very nice, only wish they had more bass to them. tried a set of bose on in a best buy and they blew these away but this was in my price range. .
Great sound and also great price September 12, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used these headphones from the ipod to my Klipsch computer speakers (also great see my review) a home cd player with a headphone jack. So being able to speak of performanance for many different players they are suberb. At the price I dare someone who can find or tell me what headphones could be better. Anyone looking for a great sound at $50 look no further and you will be happy with the result. Get them.
Dubious quality control September 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought two sets of these headphones, one set that worked well, and one set was totally lacking in all bass and sounded like it was coming from the bottom of a well. I tried suggestions like leaving it on high volume for a period of hours, but it didn't change it all. With dubious quality control it's hard to know what you'll get... I'm overseas, so Amazon won't re-reimburse the postage for returning the item, so if you don't have the option of free return shipping available, I'd say it's not worth the gamble.
