Just what I was looking for January 6, 2009
We purchased this extrernal hard drive to back up our PC and store our photos and videos. What can I say? It is exactly what we wanted/needed and expected. I took it out of the box, plugged it in and copied my files over - it was that easy. If you need space, you can't beat the size of this drive for the price. We use Western Digital products at work as well and have not been disappointed yet. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for extra storage space for their PC.

I was using 500gb external hard drive, but was running out of space.
I have been reseraching many different 1tb external hard drive and this became my final choice.
No noise, heat, and very stable.
Simply re-format FAT32 into NTFS (5 sec)!
Great product, a little slow January 3, 2009
I received this product quickly and in great condition. Works very well so far and was ready to use right out of the box. Very satisfied. The transfer rate is a little slow, but then again I am transferring large files. Still - I would buy this product again and I just might do that soon.
