Must Have For Adding XLR To Canon GL2 - Highly Recommended! December 5, 2008
The "DXA-4P" provides XLR microphone capability to camcorders with mini-jack inputs (like the Canon GL2). The unit is well made and conveniently attaches to the tripod mount of the camcorder (the unit has a tripod mount on the bottom).
The DXA-4P has:
Two balanced XLR Inputs for Stereo Recording
Auxiliary mini-jack
Dual MIC/LINE level switches
Dual trim controls
Mono/stereo switch for single input recording
We have used this for about two years now and have been very pleased with the results!
